Real engagements, real outcomes

Six programmes across sectors — nonprofits, a global audit firm, and an exporter — each with its own challenge, approach and result. Client names are withheld out of respect for confidentiality.

UN Youth Initiative

Cohort for a United Nations Organisation

Equist ran a capability-building cohort for ~27 staff across five teams of a UN youth initiative.

~27 staff trained across 5 teams

OBJECTIVES & CHALLENGES

Build staff capability in high performance mindsets, stronger routines, better meetings, AI and tech adoption, advanced Excel and compelling presentations — against a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with uneven adoption of AI and everyday tech.

SOLUTION

Pre-session surveys and interviews contextualised every topic. Fortnightly virtual sessions were built around hands-on activities, breakout-room problem solving, organisation-specific AI tutorials and analysis of an anonymised organisational dataset — backed by cheatsheets, worksheets and pre-loaded Excel sheets.

BENEFITS & REACH

AI is now part of daily work — Claude for research, drafting and formatting; NotebookLM and Gemini for synthesis and analysis. The Minto Pyramid transformed how ~27 participants across Programme, Operations, M&E, Partnerships and Communications structure communication.

CURRENT STATUS

Program completed, with a clear roadmap to sustain adoption. Equist has proposed a next phase of tailored coaching, integration support and team-specific problem solving.

“Highly engaging and incredibly fun”

Indian Social Enterprise

Cohort for a leading Indian Social Enterprise

Equist is building the capacity of 50 leaders at a leading Indian Social Enterprise of 2,000+ employees.

50 leaders being developed across 22 teams

OBJECTIVES & CHALLENGES

Build middle management’s capacity to take greater ownership, drive stronger performance and strengthen the leadership pipeline — where mid-managers weren’t yet empowered to own bigger outcomes, succession was thin, and one-off trainings rarely changed behaviour.

SOLUTION

A year-long quarterly learning cycle, not a one-off program: a current-state assessment, co-designed contextualised content, in-person workshops every quarter and virtual check-ins in between — reinforced by a peer community and leadership connects.

BENEFITS & REACH

Processes for all 22 teams mapped and major bottlenecks identified, with specific metrics defined to track business value. Mid-managers from field leadership (zonal and state heads) and institutional functions (Finance, Procurement, HR, Admin) took part.

CURRENT STATUS

Ongoing: each team is driving improvements across multiple processes through March 2027, working toward tangible business value.

Big 4 Audit Firm

Workshops for a Big 4 Audit Firm

Equist conducted 11 workshops in FY 23-24 with the Indian arm of a global Big 4 audit firm.

430+ participants · 60+ hours · >90/100 CSAT

OBJECTIVES & CHALLENGES

The firm wanted to give its Assistant Manager cohort practical training in personal productivity, against a backdrop of high employee workloads and fatigue and strong internal demand for this kind of training.

SOLUTION

Equist was onboarded as the productivity specialist trainer. Structured 6-hour workshops covered an enabling productivity mindset, weekly prioritization and planning, task management, daily routines and habits, daily planning and Deep Work.

BENEFITS & REACH

Employees carried out live planning, prioritization and mindset-reflection exercises during the sessions, using curated tools built on seven years of the trainer’s experience. FY 23-24 covered 430+ participants across 60+ hours, averaging >90/100 CSAT.

CURRENT STATUS

Based on the strong positive feedback, the firm has renewed its contract with Equist for FY 24-25.

“This training should be made mandatory across all levels of the organisation”

Indian NGO

Cohort for a leading Indian NGO

Equist conducted a high-intensity cohort for 17 participants of a leading Indian nonprofit.

17 participants · ~54 extra focus minutes/day

OBJECTIVES & CHALLENGES

The organisation wanted to enhance the productivity of its mid- to senior leadership, who worked under tight deadlines, strict resource constraints and increasing fatigue and burnout.

SOLUTION

A 17-member cohort covering an enabling productivity mindset, weekly prioritization and planning, task management, daily routines and habits, daily planning and deep work, and managing meetings and collaboration.

BENEFITS & REACH

Detailed workbooks captured each participant’s key learnings and self-reflections. A majority reported improvements in focus, better habits and a more positive mindset, tracked through 5 weekly contests with live leaderboards across mid- to senior management.

CURRENT STATUS

Based on the success of the first cohort, the NGO has requested Equist to conduct a second cohort for its middle and senior leadership.

“This training was something that I really needed without realizing it! I have incorporated almost all the methods taught and have used it to not only improve my productivity at work, but also in my personal life.”

Nonprofit Reducing Anaemia

Cohort for a nonprofit fighting anaemia

Equist delivered a depth-first management program for a nonprofit working to reduce anaemia in India.

90+ people · 6 frameworks · 17 case studies

OBJECTIVES & CHALLENGES

Strengthen core management capabilities in feedback, communication, problem solving, data-driven decisions and project management — in a fast-paced, field-based environment where learning rarely carries into daily work.

SOLUTION

Guided by fewer topics, greater depth, Equist ran interactive, case-based online sessions, each co-planned and signed off in advance. Frameworks included Radical Candour and SBII for feedback, the Minto Pyramid, a 6-step problem-solving model, a 7-step data-driven decision-making model, and the 4 areas of effective project management.

BENEFITS & REACH

1–2 frameworks practised in depth per session rather than many skimmed, built on the organisation’s own success stories and real-world cases, with champions identified to integrate practices. The entire organisation of 90+ people took part across 5 core sessions plus an AMA.

CURRENT STATUS

Engagement completed by November 2025, with a 4-step integration roadmap to help learnings outlast the program.

Home Furnishings Exporter

Cohort for a home furnishings exporter

Equist is driving accountability and AI adoption at a leading Indian home furnishings exporter.

19 sessions · 93–100% CSAT

OBJECTIVES & CHALLENGES

Build a high-performance organisation — clarity at the top, accountability in the middle, and AI-enabled work across functions — against ambitious growth targets, high dependency on key individuals and unclear ownership across functions and locations.

SOLUTION

A three-tier program: leadership sessions to set strategic priorities; mid-management accountability sessions across four batches, built on process mapping and RACI; and function-specific AI training — with a post-session action tracker reviewed in leadership meetings.

BENEFITS & REACH

93–100% CSAT across sessions to date. Strategy translated into 5 priorities, each with a named owner. Process maps and RACI for Procurement & Merchandising almost live, alongside hands-on prompt engineering, data analysis and dashboards.

CURRENT STATUS

Ongoing: sessions scheduled through October 2026, with RACI rollout queued for remaining functions.
